Parenting Our Best is my goal, which I occasionally hit.

I am the mother of three adult children.

I am a lawyer and a Parenting and Education Advocate

I have 13 years times 2 children in the Chicago Public Schools and 8 years of CPS and 7 years at an elite Private school.

I have been though the selective admission process 5 times in CPS and the college application process 3 times.

I have served on 2 Local School Councils for three terms, volunteered, substituted, taught test prep and study skills and been an Adjunct Law Professor

All of that said, here is what I know…

Every interaction I have with a child, determines whether that child will become my “doctor” or become the reason that I need a doctor.

I want the world to be full of “doctors”

and it can be.

Our children need us to educate them,

protect them,

nurture them and

advocate for them.
